In 2011, Ford of Britain celebrates its Centenary and the 100th year of manufacturing in the UK. To celebrate this event, we plan to create a ‘100 Years of Ford’ Avenue including everything from a Model-T to a modern-day Ford.
“EXOTICA” TVR’s, Porsche’s, and American Muscle machines will create the ‘Exotica’ section of this year’s event. We are also proud to include within our show:
- MKII Capri Register National Day
- TIPEC SYNN (Porsche) Regional Day
- TVR Car Club East Midlands Regional Day
- RT Racing display inc. many exciting TVR road & track cars
- Classic & Sports bikes (NEW for 2011)
Saturday will see teams from the many car clubs competing against each other in the highly entertaining ‘Team Events’. Exhibitors who stay on site will be treated to a live band (The Consultants) on Saturday night in the magnificent racecourse complex and bar area.
Over the weekend, Clubs and individuals will be proudly exhibiting almost every type of Classic and Sports Car from the 20th and 21st Century …. approx 750 cars expected in total!
Sunday will be ‘Show & Shine’ Day! Dozens of trophies will be ‘up for grabs’ in categories varying from ‘pre 1970’ through to ‘21st Century’. Along with traders, children’s entertainment camping or on-site motel & refreshments, this is a show for the enthusiast AND the family.
